That alone is a greatness

The affections I've held for you were never misplaced and they still hold strong. All it takes is one thought of you in order for a gentle fondness to arise. I adore you. It is the kind of adoration that grows from deep awe. Tender reverance fills my body every time I see you. I used to be unsure when faced with the intensity of your presence, your intensity and your will. But all these have grown to be qualities that I now hold dear instead. You are grand and imposing and I will always love your inexplicable soul. Your careful authority. Your loving protection. Years have passed, but my feelings have never changed. I do not need you to love me back, we do not need to play house. I will be content just admiring all you are, I will be content in all my notions of love simply because you exist.
